Wtf man...now Peter Cullen?

Most of you probably won't recognize his face, but his voice is legendary. He brought Optimus Prime to life as well as a whole host of other characters over his impressive career. It's a terrible thing to lose a talent like his. He was 85.

Man...first Dolly, now Tim??? Both in the same day too...how sad. I would not be able to do Tim justice with a single post from all of his amazing contributions to film and music, so I'll just say this: Tim Curry was a true force to be reckoned with and he gave such amazing personality to all of the roles he performed. One of my personal favorites was Hexxus from Fern Gully, but truly all of his characters were truly next level.

RIP Tim, you are a star

Damn...we lost another legend today. Dolly Parton is one of the most iconic singers of the last century, and she helped shape an entire industry with her voice and her incredible presence both on and off the stage. Dolly always stood for goodness and kindness, contributing incredible sums to philanthropy and charities and living her message of just trying to get through life and doing your best through tough times.

She's one of the country music musicians I listened to growing up thanks to my grandma, and it takes me back decades whenever I hear her sing. May she rest in peace and her family find their own peace.

Probably one of my most favorite moments the whole weekend of Midsummer Scream! Getting to spend time with Daniel Pearl and Ted Nicolaou and hear their fascinating stories about the production of Texas Chain Saw Massacre and other film work they had done (ask Daniel about his meeting Steven Spielberg!). Living legends that choose to spend their spare time continuing to share their love and support for this franchise, what an awesome thing!
