I first photographed Aria when she came to our school in 2018. (Click through to see what she looked like then!) Their family has since become dear friends, notably weathering the COVID season with my family as one of our "pod". And now I am watching her prepare to launch.

She is smart and easy-going; dances like a ballerina (literally) and sings like a bird. It was fitting to do her senior session up at her grandfather's Christmas Tree farm on a windy Spring day....slightly wild but with the promise and hope of a new season.

Ahhh - the last of my 2025 senior photo shoots. Also the last of three siblings whose senior year I am documenting! It's been an honor to watch AJ grow up, teach him a thing or two about math, and have him add drums or keys or vocals or bass to my meager music offerings. For sure I can't wait to see where this one ends up - the possibilities are endless.

I had the pleasure of photographing Abby’s extended family on this property a few years ago before the land was even cleared for building. So it was especially fun to meet up with Abby and Jon again now that their beautiful home is complete and they’ve officially settled in. They were so easy-going, and it was a joy to capture the comfort and happiness they’ve created in their new space.

Yussef plays electric guitar with me at church sometimes but I had never really hung out with him before this day. He made me laugh and his hair is a vibe for sure. It was a fun afternoon roaming around Hawk Mountain with him and his buddy Brighton and their moms. I love capturing these moments before the season changes and they turn a page to a whole new chapter. Finish strong, Yussef!

About five minutes ago, Brighton was playing legos with my son and here he is killing it for his senior photo shoot. He's a chill guy for sure and funny, but we also planned his buddy's photo shoot for the same time and location which helped both of them. I might make this a new policy - seniors boys have to bring a friend along to keep them loose and laughing. Be sure to peep the last photo of him and his mom - love taking mother-son shots on these gigs!

This girl rolled up with her truck, her dog, and that quiet confidence that says she knows exactly who she is. No pretense, no fuss. Just pure, authentic Tessia.

The golden light, the open fields, the sound of gravel under tires…it all came together for the kind of shoot that feels like home. I love capturing seniors who bring their whole heart and personality and she did just that. Strong. Grounded. Beautiful. Ready for whatever road lies ahead. 🤎

This session hit a little different - I kicked off my senior portrait season with my niece, Miriam, in the same place I photographed both her siblings in recent years. Sassy, strong, hilarious, and completely comfortable in her own skin, she is equal parts goofball, smartypants, and trumpet rockstar 🎺✨

Watching her grow into this confident, bold, beautiful young woman has been a joy. Getting to capture that sparkle through my lens? Even better.

Love you, kiddo. The world better be ready. 💛

I handed out school pictures today, and it hit me once again how quickly time flies. Each year I get to watch these children grow, not just in how they look, but in their confidence and in their personalities. It’s such a gift to witness that through my camera lens, and I am honored to help freeze just a tiny piece of time for these families. 💛

This is my niece. Maya. Or Maya Papaya as she's been known since the minute she was born. She came to visit this summer and we squeezed her senior photos in between raindrops on what must have been the coldest week of August. She is brave and fun and kind and I wish you could all meet her!

We squeezed one more photo shoot in before the last of the leaves fell and I'm so glad we did. What fun to capture three generations and all the love running through and around this family!
