Some moments on film from the past year with my lil family ❤️

I never really posted a new years reflection and I’m not sure that’s what this is either, but this past year was a very very special one with so many experiences to put me in my feelings over! We found our lil kitty boy in our backyard on a random Tuesday being hunted by an eagle!! He is a warrior!! And now he lives with us (we cry we so happy 🥲) & Milo pup has kind of accepted him?? and that’s totally enough for us!! Jack & I got married in September last year ~ wowza ~ our day was so special (made special by so many amazing family & friends) & I feel really lucky I get to live this life with my best friend who gets my weird silly side & will be a silly giggly guy with me (and also cry with me bc crying is cool). My heart burst so big for Jacky boy 💥❤️💥 !!

I’m sure I’ll be sharing more feelings & photos soon but pls enjoy this batch for now 💫💕

Almost a year ago Carl, Jack, and I ventured to a family friend’s property to shoot a music video for .and.jack on a very & cold snowy day. Here are some film stills I shot during our full shoot day. I had so much fun with these guys & I can’t wait for the music video to go live next Saturday 2/14! I shot the entire thing on super 8mm & Carl did his editing magic with all the footage. The song will be available to listen to on streaming platforms next Saturday, and I promise you, it’s a song that you want to keep playing again and again! Every time I listen to it I wanna move my body and sing along ❤️❤️❤️

Earlier this year I had the opportunity to work with Caroline & Anna for their business .caz . They create incredibly delicious dishes from scratch and source their food from local farmers in their area. Their care and dedication was honestly inspiring to be around. The first time I went to visit and photograph their supper club (an amazing experience I highly recommend), I started to feel sick, which doesn’t happen often when on the job. Caroline & Anna hosted me, cooked me broth FROM SCRATCH, brought me a heating pad, and checked in on me throughout the day-night. Truly the kindest most heart forward people! What they have brought to the finger lakes region is beyond so special— it’s needed! I feel really grateful for the opportunity to create with them and watch them in their element making nourishing food for their community. This connection came from photographing a very fun wedding a couple years ago in Cazenovia where they catered and I ate way too many of their lemon possets, whoops sue me…a girls gotta eat after a wedding day! Anywayssss I’m finally sharing these images & I have more from this experience I want to share but I’ll leave this here for now. Forever grateful for .caz & I look forward to the next time I get to see them!!!
