🎬 OTSEGO MEDIA IS CASTING!

We’re looking for a local family to appear in an upcoming tourism video shoot on Friday, September 25.

We’re seeking a family of 3–4 people, ideally including:

• Two parents
• A boy around age 12
• An additional sibling, if applicable

The family should feel polished but approachable, be comfortable on camera and—most importantly—have natural chemistry together. No acting experience is necessary! We’ll be capturing candid moments of your family enjoying a fall day together.

📍 Shoot Locations:

• Mine Kill State Park – light hiking, exploring and a possible picnic
• Main Street in Middleburgh
• Forget Me Not Soda Shoppe

⏰ Approximate Schedule: 8:00 AM–3:00 PM
💵 Compensation: $800 total for the family
🍽️ Lunch will be provided.

THE WALL THAT HEALS NEEDS OUR COMMUNITY

This September, The Wall That Heals will come to Neahwa Park in Oneonta. This three-quarter-scale replica of the Vietnam Veterans Memorial bears the names of 58,281 American service members who made the ultimate sacrifice in Vietnam.

The memorial will be free and open to the public 24 hours a day from September 24–27—but bringing it to our community will require nearly 200 volunteers.

Volunteers are needed to:

• Help assemble The Wall
• Welcome and assist visitors
• Serve shifts throughout the day and overnight
• Help take down The Wall after the event

Whether you can volunteer for one shift or several, your time will help ensure that every veteran, family member, and visitor receives the respectful and meaningful experience they deserve.
