I walked into our equipment room today and had one of those moments where I just stopped and looked around.
It’s FULL.
We've spent the summer making some software changes, hiring, organizing, and getting ready for another school year. Seeing all of this equipment lined up makes me feel incredibly blessed. (And what's pictured isn't even all of it!)
I don’t just see cameras, carts, lights, and bags when I look at this room. I see an amazing team of people who will soon be taking all of this equipment into schools every day. I see the schools and organizations that trust BJK Photos to capture their students. I see the families who allow us to be a small part of documenting their kids growing up. And I see how far this little company has come.
Soon this room will look completely different. All of the equipment will be out of the studio every day, spread across schools throughout Central New York as another busy Picture Day season begins.
Owning a business certainly has its challenges, but moments like this remind me just how fortunate I am. I love what I do, I love the people I do it with and I love the communities we do it for!
