I’m Katie, the photographer behind Katie Largent Photography.

A few things about me:
☕️ I almost always have an iced coffee or chai in hand
🐞Ladybugs remind me of my grandma and they are my sign that she is here with me.

Over the past year, life looked a little different than I expected. My family walked through some difficult challengers and it reminded me just how precious the people and moments we love really are.

That’s just one reason I care so deeply about photography. These images become part of your story. They preserve the laughter, the tears, the people beside you, and the seasons you’ll want to remember forever.

I wasn’t lying when I said I would forever share this day.

H + M took off to Bailey, Colorado with a small group of their most important people and had a small wedding in the mountains and brought me along as their photographer. I feel forever grateful and truly honored to have gotten to capture such a monumental moment and to have made two new friends out of it.

Sometimes the best wedding days are the simplest ones. 💛

These two traveled all the way to Omaha from out of state and chose to celebrate their love with an intimate elopement at Memorial Park. No large guest list. No pressure. Just the two of them, their heartfelt vows, their officiant Carol, and me there to document every moment.

From laughing together under the trees to dancing around the park and soaking in every second of their day, this elopement was such a beautiful reminder that your wedding doesn’t have to look a certain way to be meaningful. It simply has to feel like you.

One of the biggest concerns couples have when planning an elopement is wondering if it will feel “special enough” without a big wedding. The truth? When you strip away the expectations and focus on your relationship, the moments often become even more intentional, emotional, and memorable.

Watching these two exchange vows in the quiet of Memorial Park, then spend the afternoon laughing, exploring, and celebrating together, was proof of that.

How flippin CUUUTE are these seniors that just graduated?! They wanted friend graduation photos which I absolutely loved the idea of. So we booked a beautiful studio and captured this time of all of them while they’re still together in the same state celebrating this HUGE milestone.

It was so fun to see them hyping each other up and being there for one another and I can only hope that their friendships continue and grow stronger. I have a solid group of friends from high school I still see and travel with and it’s so, so special. 🥹💛

So cheers to long-lasting friendships and capturing memories to preserve for a lifetime🫶
