Iâm not a photographer.
It took me a long time to outgrow that label. Letting it go was uncomfortable at first, but once I did, everything started to click.
For years, photography was the tool I used to help my clients. But the truth is my skill set has always gone far beyond that. Messaging. Positioning. Advertising. Copywriting. Design. Strategy. I left those skills sitting in the dark, and in doing so, I wasnât just limiting my clients. I was limiting myself.
Once I started treating every project through the lens of a marketing partner, my work changed. I donât just take photos. I produce creative projects. I direct them. I think strategically about how they will be used and what results they need to create.
Itâs easy to put yourself in a box because itâs comfortable. But comfort isnât where growth happens.
Today, I approach every client with a holistic mindset. Whether the value comes directly from me, from my team, or through a trusted referral, I look at the bigger picture. I think about the transformation people experience when working with my clients and the impact their work has.
Beautiful imagery matters. But great photography is only great when itâs used to its fullest potential. When it creates results.
Thatâs what I care about.
