Since the parks opened back up, I took my girl to the park to take some pictures. I love taking pictures of her every Spring. In the past, she has screamed and cried through photoshoots, so having a cooperative young lady was fantastic! Thank you to everyone who still follows me on Facebook! I'm not around here too much anymore. :) I am a busy gal homeschooling four kids and just trying to keep up with life...so I don't offer that much photography anymore! I am still available for a session if you are ever interested.

Congratulations to Bella, a 2020 high school senior! Seniors are having to miss so much this year, and I feel for them. Here's a girl that I wouldn't want to argue with over pressing topics...she's a debate champion! She is kind, lovely and sweet(I still wouldn't debate her). :) Thank you Bella for allowing me to capture these portraits for you!

This was a first for me! A client asked me to take pictures of Christmas lights for his business. Did you know there is like a 15 minute window for the sky to look like this? Did you also know that traffic was stupid crazy tonight and I almost missed it? Thankfully I made it just in time!

When you've known your 2020 Senior since she was a little girl...and you adore her spunk(and love of the color orange)! Ellen you are a bright ray of sunshine to me and everyone you come into contact with. You have a contagious smile and a contagious spirit. I can't wait to see where life takes you.

This has been an exhausting two weeks. Pneumonia kicked my rear, and I have never felt so useless and awful all at the same time. Through it all there has been so much to be grateful for...
-friends who instantly brought meals to care for our family!
-people praying for me!
-my mom came to help us!
-I feel like I recovered somewhat quick. I've heard it can take up to 6 weeks to fully recover.

Life is just too darn short to worry about the all the little things that weigh us down(I'm the worst worry wart of them all so preaching to myself here).

Love your friends and family fiercely.
