This family is one of the sweetest families I have ever met and I’m so grateful I was able to photograph them, twice in one year! They are funny, resilient, and so smart!

A little about the Nizar family:

Neena and her sons have a rare skeletal disorder called Jansens Metaphyseal Chondrodysplasia. Less than TEN people in the US have this disease and three of them are right here in Omaha, NE! Neena has devoted so much time into finding a cure for this disease, and she hopes to be the first to try an experimental treatment that could potentially help Jansen’s patients!

I am so ecstatic to share one of the biggest accomplishments in my photography career!!! 🎉

I recently had the opportunity to shoot for PEOPLE magazine one of the largest magazines in the United States, and I still can’t believe it!! What feels like a dream is a crazy reality. Photography has taken me places that I could never have even imagined. When I say I love this job of mine, I mean it wholeheartedly!

All of the glory in this goes to God. He continues to bless my career abundantly and I TRULY wouldn’t be where I am without Him!! 🤍

I am going to finally get caught up on posting here soon!! busy season has been getting the best of me this year!

but will you just look at these two!!! we started the session with cloudy skies and ended up with an AMAZING sunset 😍 these two came from Colorado to get a session with me and I’m so glad Nebraska chose to show off this evening!
