Because we're geniuses, Sam and I spent like 5 hours at an outdoor concert last night, then drove 2 hours away to the middle of nowhere to try to capture the Perseids with the galactic center of the Milky Way.

We went to a dinky cemetery just south of an equally dinky town. We were by far the loudest people there.

From about 2am to 5:30am, other than a brief 45 minute nap break, we were shooting in that cemetery.

I don't love how the Milky Way turned out because the shots are so short (4", f/4, ISO 4000) to be able to catch the meteors, but it's the best I could do with my current knowledge and the gear I had, so I'm pretty happy with the results.
