Twenty years ago, thanks to my wonderful wife, I had the privilege of being the DJ at Sarah and Clint's wedding reception. Fast forward to today, and I was both surprised and deeply honored when Sarah reached out to inquire about DJ services for her daughter's special day. Once the initial shock wore off, two thoughts crossed my mind:
1. How is it possible that I’ve been in this business long enough for my clients' children to now be planning their own weddings?
2. What an incredible blessing it has been to use my talents over the years to help celebrate God's sacred, lifelong commitment that marriage represents.
Sarah and Clint, I am truly proud of the kind, humble, and talented daughter you have raised. The love Chance has for her is evident in every way. You’ve gained a wonderful son-in-law who will undoubtedly cherish Shelbie with the love and respect she deserves. This moment is easily one of my favorite Throwback Thursday memories! Here’s to love, family, and endless happiness!
