KINDNESS
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
"Comfort and Compassion are always translatable.”
-Houston Kraft, Co-founder Character Strong, and one of my most valued mentors and a better friend.

I’m starting a new series on my Instagram, inspired by . I’ve realized that for every “Win” I’ve ever had in my life, there has been a mentor behind it. I want to start sharing those faces.
Houston more than anyone I have ever met truely practices what he preaches! He has dedicated his life to making the world a kinder and more wholesome place.
I remember early into the pandemic I was in a bad spot with mental health, work slowed I had just moved to a new city. I asked Houston for advice on success. He told me that success is measured in so many different ways. His list of what would make him successful was the number of homecooked meals and dance parties.
I remeber this being a huge turning point in my mental health, instead of wanting to make a lot of money and be well respected the normal measurements of success I learned that I wanted to do more of the things I wanted to do!
I wanted to measure success in the amount of positivity my work spreads, in the number of sunsets I can catch with friends.
Houston and I started working together right before and basically were working nonstop to create video content during the first couple months of the pandemic! Even though I saw him almost every day, Houston has one of those personalities that whenever I see him the day just seems to get better and it is obvious that it's not just me that feels that way but just about everyone that has ever met him!
I have seen Houston at so many points where most people would have broken down but he always seems to keep a positive spin on it all. Ending a 16-hour live stream with a smile and some cheers, Classic Hou!
