Friday night in Lenoir City was something special.
The stands were packed, the band was on the 50, and that sunset over Panther Stadium just kept getting better and better. You could feel the whole Battle of the Bridge energy in the air.
I was up with the drone for this wide shot and had to pause just to take it all in.

Lenoir City after dark. ✨

35 minutes of traffic compressed into 11 seconds. Every streak of light is someone heading home, heading out, heading somewhere that matters.

350ft over Hwy 321 — the intersection we all drive every day, seen from a perspective we never get behind the wheel.

Found this one from last fall and forgot to post it.
Clinch River right below Melton Hill Dam - fog was so thick you couldn't see across, then it would lift for 30 seconds and give you this.
Been a lot of football on here lately, figured we could use a quiet Sunday morning post.

Early mornings hit different on the river.
Fog on the water, gold in the trees, and not another sound for miles. This is why we get up early.

You had to be there last night.

I flew for several hours and compressed Battle of the Bridge into 30 seconds. Watch both stands fill up before kickoff.

Lenoir City looked a little different last night.

I captured this 360° view while a widespread power outage left much of the Grid and surrounding area in the dark. With entire sections of the neighborhood nearly disappearing beneath the storm clouds, the places that still had power stood out like islands of light.

It’s a view of town you definitely don’t see every day.

It's hard to believe, but tomorrow night is the 100th Battle of the Bridge.
Lenoir City vs Loudon — 100 years of this rivalry, 9 miles apart, all for bragging rights.
I grabbed this drone shot of Panther Stadium tonight while it was quiet. Tomorrow it won't be. 7:30pm kickoff at Lenoir City High School.
Let's pack the stands, be loud, and keep that trophy on our side of the bridge.
