We are two photographers, Josie and Kirsten. Very close friends of over 10 years, we work super great together. We love to be creative and try new things. We believe that you can't just be a great photographer. You NEED to know how to edit photos. And, indeed, we do. We travel to locations that fit the look the client is want
ing. However, Josie does have a mini studio in her garage with several backdrops to choose from. We just prefer natural lighting. We run several specials throughout the year. This info is for family, kids, newborn, senior and engagement photos. Below is our information on Bridal and Bo***ir. Where do we shoot? Although we travel to all different locations, we prefer to shoot in the clients home. Not only does it have the added comfort level, it allows us to have more privacy and you receive a more personal effect. We do have other options if you are not wanting an “on location” appointment. For any group package, we offer Suite photo shoots at a premier hotel.*See Group packages for more information. What do you wear? Whatever makes you feel sexy! We encourage clients to have several different outfits/ideas for the day. We will decide which outfits will be appropriate for your package. Corsets, Garters, Thigh-highs, lingerie, white button up shirt, several pairs of sexy underwear and bras, white tank top, and don’t forget the HEELS! If your significant other has a favorite t-shirt, jersey or hat, we always suggest doing a few pictures in those. (They love that!) Don’t forget the accessories! Earrings, necklaces, bracelets help to bring out the drama in each photo. Bring a robe if you want to be covered between sets. We do not require clients to get naked, unless you specifically request to. (We will also have several props if you need to spice up your look)
Who will be at my session? There will be a minimum of two people at your session. Kirsten will be photographing you and help with wardrobe. Josie is a licensed cosmetologist and make-up artist that will be getting you all gussied up for your sexy shoot! Josie will also be doing lighting and posing and help with wardrobe. We encourage you to invite a friend or family member that you feel comfortable with to help you get over the nerves. (Please, females only)
*On some occasions, we book clients the same day. What editing do we use? At Paisley and Pixel, we strive to bring out the very best in you! We smooth out all blemishes, dark spots, stretch marks, wrinkles and cellulite to the best of our ability. We use Photoshop, so more often than not we can get rid of all imperfections. However, we cannot make you have an entirely different body. We work with what you have, but touch it up so that you feel absolutely gorgeous! We add effects, change lighting, soften and edit all of our photos; which will be provided to you on a CD. What session fits me best? We have SEVERAL options for everyone. We started this company as two women that have paid a TON for pictures, and we believe that every woman, no matter the shape, size or color should have beautiful pictures without going broke in the meantime. Our sessions are very affordable, and we are constantly running promotions. Mini sessions, 30 minute, 60minute, and 90 minute sessions available. Bridal Party specials, Girls Day Out specials, and of course Valentines Day Specials! Check out our packages to see what interests you. What to expect the day of. Please have clean, dry hair. For make-up, please only have foundation on. We provide false eye-lashes, and primarily use Bare Minerals make-up. If you have allergies, or have sensitive skin, or may be partial to a certain brand, please bring your own make-up for Josie to use. If not, we will use our company make-up. Hair and make-up will take about 15-20 minutes. That does not take away from your session time. If you are wanting an extravagant updo or require in-depth styling, (other than flat ironing, all over curls, and half updos) you will be charged an additional fee of $25. Once you are finished with that, we will get your wardrobe together. To be time efficient, we encourage you to have all outfits, including jewelry and shoes paired together. Your session starts as soon as we start shooting, so to be time conscious, we encourage organization of outfits. We will pose you, do hair and make-up touch-ups and we encourage you to bring poses you’ve found, or to express your opinion while we go! We have also found that it helps to loosen up those nerves by bringing wine, or a drink with you to a session if it helps. (Anything that will make it more comfortable for you) After the shoot, we have a 14-21 days to edit and burn all of your pictures.
