Josh | Park Hill High School, Class of 2027

Part three (and the final round) of Josh’s senior session!

This was actually our first stop - but I saved the best for last! We kicked off our session at the Kauffman Center for the Performing Arts in downtown Kansas City, and Josh brought along his upright bass.

Josh is a talented musician, and I loved getting to capture this side of him. The architecture of the Kauffman Center made for such a cool backdrop, and we had some incredible light to work with.

From English Landing to downtown Parkville to the Kauffman Center, we packed a lot into this session! It's been a blast getting to share all three parts.

Thanks for such a fun evening, Josh!

Josh | Park Hill High School, Class of 2027

Part two of Josh’s senior session!

We felt like downtown Parkville, MO, was a good contrast to English Landing Park. Brick walls, back alleys, and some really cool textures made for a great backdrop for these shots.

I love how much variety we were able to get out of one evening. And Josh absolutely nailed it.

Still one more part of Josh’s session to share soon — this time with his upright bass outside the Kauffman Center!

Josh | Park Hill High School, Class of 2027

First look at Josh’s senior session. We spent part of the evening wandering around English Landing near downtown Parkville and found some seriously good spots along the way.

Josh runs cross country and loves being outdoors, so this was a pretty natural fit for him.

At one point Josh goes, “Should we get a picture of me doing a cartwheel?”
Me: “You can do a cartwheel?”
Josh: “Yep.”
Me: “Great, let’s do it. 😎”

More from Josh’s session coming soon, including his upright bass outside the Kauffman Center. That part of the session deserves its own post.

I can’t get over how beautiful Latha and Travis’ pre-ceremony couples session was!

A gorgeous afternoon, a walk through Heritage park, and two people about to get married. Pretty hard to go wrong.

These are the kinds of wedding days I love getting to photograph.

I’m booking weddings for 2027 now. If you’re planning yours, send me a message. I’d love to hear about it.

They don’t stay little forever.

The missing teeth. The belly laughs. The way they still reach for your hand. The way they fit in your arms right now.

It all changes faster than you think.

Family photos aren’t just about having something nice for the Christmas card. They’re about remembering your family exactly as they are in this season.

Because this season goes fast, It’s worth remembering well.

Fall family sessions are booking now. Send me a message to grab a spot!

Okay, THESE are the basketball shots I was talking about. 🔥

Landon absolutely crushed this part of his senior session. We had a lot of fun getting creative in the gym, and these ended up being some of my favorites from the whole shoot.

Senior photos should feel like you — so if there’s a sport, hobby, or place that’s been a big part of your high school years, let’s work it in.

Class of 2027 — I still have just a few slots left for fall senior sessions! Send me a message and we’ll get yours on the calendar.

A dad seeing his daughter as a bride for the first time. Hard to beat this one.

I love when couples want to make a little space in the wedding day for moments like this. A few minutes, just the two of them — the anticipation, the first reaction, and that hug at the end.

The big moments matter. So do these.

Now booking 2027 weddings. If you’re planning yours, I’d love to hear about it.

Landon’s senior session.

A little downtown, a little outdoors, and of course we had to work some fishing into it.

And this isn’t even the whole session - the basketball shots deserve their own post.

Class of 2027: I still have very limited fall sessions available! Shoot me a message if you want to get on the calendar.

First look at Landon’s senior session 👀

Basketball, fishing, and a whole lot of good stuff in between. Had a blast with this one — and I’ve got plenty more favorites to share soon.

I love senior sessions that tell a story. Not just great portraits, but photos that capture who you are right now — your interests, personality, and the places that mean something to you.

Because this season goes fast. It’s worth remembering well.

I still have a few fall dates available for senior + family photos around KC! If you’ve been thinking about getting something on the calendar, shoot me a message. I’d love to work with you!
