Natural light photography utilizes the available light, preferably the sun, to shape your pictures. No flashes or bright studio lights, just whatever light is available!
Golden Hour is the period shortly after sunrise or before sunset. The light is 'warm' and has an orange tone, which is looks great on skin! These are two of the best times to take photos.
Blue Hour is the period of twilight shortly before (or after!) the Golden Hour. This light is much cooler and has a blue tone, which can make for some ethereal portraits. These are two of the second best times to take photos.
Keep both of these times in mind when scheduling outdoor photos. Earlier morning and later afternoon will yield better results, with mid-day scheduling being more harsh and drastic.
