To so many kids in the rodeo world, Dad is their first hero.

He’s the one they watch from the fence, the one they try to be like, the one they call when something breaks, and the one they count on no matter what.

Whether he’s hauling horses down the road, helping in the practice pen, fixing equipment, cheering from the stands, or simply showing up day after day, he’s setting an example of hard work, dedication, and perseverance.

The rodeo arena is full of young cowboys and cowgirls chasing big dreams, but behind so many of them is a father they look up to and admire. The lessons they teach go far beyond rodeo, they teach respect, grit, responsibility, and how to keep going when things get tough.

Today we celebrate the dads who lead by example, support without hesitation, and inspire the next generation every single day.

Happy Father’s Day to all the dads raising cowboys and cowgirls.

Join us June 26-27 for two nights of rodeo action, followed by the SOJRA Rodeo on Sunday, June 28!

⏰ 8pm Nightly
💰 $2,400 Added Money (Open Events Only)
🐄 Special Event: Wild Cow Milking - Buckle to average winning team
🐑 Sheep Riding 7:30pm nightly – Buckles awarded to the winner each night

Contestants must enter both nights to be eligible for added money.
