Making progress! It's different seeing these with the printer marks and the bleed margins. Looks like a real book, lol.

Book update: progressing nicely! I had to redo the entire format for InDesign which is what book publishers universally use, and am almost complete. For those who pledged, be sure to check your emails-- Kickstarter is saying there are still 24 it's awaiting responses from. We gotta have your address for delivery! 🙂

Alright gang, for those of you who backed the book... again, THANK YOU! The Kickstarter Pledge Manager emails should be going out so be on the lookout for those. It verifies your email for book delivery and shipping, plus it also handles the sales tax (that's an Oklahoma requirement, not mine!) that may still need to be taken care of. For the update-- I'm working on adjusting the layout for the printer and have already gotten quotes from them as well so progress is being made!

OKC: URBAN VISIONS was not my first attempt at a book. Many, many years ago (in the days of film and the early 2000s) I put together a portfolio with the hopes of creating a book but it never went anywhere and sat on a shelf in the closet. I dusted it off and decided to finish an idea...

Back to my day job...
I love photographing homes and finding just the right details and angles to make everything stand out and show a home at its best. My goal isn't just to document a house-- it's to create images that make someone stop scrolling and want to see more.

If you're a realtor, builder, or property professional, I'd love the opportunity to let our photography work for you!

It's been a wild last few days... but WE DID IT!!

Thank you all so much and YOU are the reason OKC: URBAN VISIONS will officially happen, whether you pledged, you spread the word, you helped encourage me, all of it mattered! So now that the Kickstarter is officially ended, they will be reaching out via email (and also for some errored pledges to be corrected) so be on the look out for those emails in your inbox.

I've already been in contact with a few potential printing companies overseas, and have been getting quotes on the production costs plus the sea shipping. Once they finish the books, those will be at sea for a few weeks in transit. For the next little while I will be tweaking the layout of the book to match the printer's specifications but fortunately the book and text are already laid out. I'll keep everyone updated as it progresses. So exciting!
