I know this space so well as a performance space so when I was helping capture this wedding it really threw me off to be here but not to be either watching or performing.

Last week I had the pleasure of spending a week in Connecticut documenting a group of artists under the banner of .
Though this is very different from what i normally photograph I couldn’t but help share some photos after all this is what led me to photography. As a former dancer I always found the excitement of photographing dance and the challenges it brought.

Justin and Alexis engagement session was such a nice thing to do after days of rain and cloudy weather. The sun was out and though this shot may be an interior shot, no way it would look this gorgeous without the sun coming through the windows!

Finally sent my film and got some super great surprises.
Here’s the truth, weddings scare me because of the huge trust put on me to capture everything to my best ability. Film scares me more because I don’t see the results right away. It’s sort of playing a game of poker. You become more confident when you know how to make better choices but the outcome doesn’t reveal itself till the very end. I’m glad I was able to capture these and be happy with these results.
