My Story
One thing you can almost guarantee when my family gets together is the photographs are coming out. My family LOVES to looks back on the years together and learn about the ones before us through photos. My family literally has traveled different states to meet other family members to go through photos. It’s amazing. I know what my grandmother’s grandmother looks like, all because of a photo.
I can the realization a couple of years ago that we have lost the touch of photos due to technology. Don’t get me wrong, technology is great! Maybe growing up in a family that cherishes physical photos so much, it means a lot to me that I offer that to others. I know for myself I want to be able to show future generations the people I love and cherish. I want to give them what my family has given me through photos.
I remember growing up, my aunt would take me around town and we would take pictures all day long. I loved it. It was one of the many ways we bonded. Many years later I switched to the other side of the camera and love it. I love every opportunity I get to capture a special moment in someone’s life. The photos I give them are the ones that they will show their family. “This is your grandparents on their wedding day.” “Here is a photo of my when I was pregnant with you.” “Ah, I love this photo. All of us together as a family.”
That’s what I hope for when you receive your photos.
