The dreamiest newborn session in the family’s in home library. Two stories of feeling like Belle in my actual dream 😮‍💨 how could you ever leave this oasis? Getting to photograph this family of bookworms in their happy place was truly a gift. 📚 What spot of your home tells your family story?

Fresh 48 Sessions ❤️ But what are they even?!

A documentary style session at the hospital or birth center within the first two days (48 hours 😉) after birth.

Photos often include:
•Your baby in the first hours of life
•Parents holding and meeting their baby
•Tiny details such as fingers, toes, and hospital bracelets
•The quiet atmosphere of the hospital room
•Siblings or family members meeting the baby for the first time

These sessions are perfect for the family who want to freeze time in this moment and cherish these memories forever, but don’t want a camera during the actual “birthing” that would typically happen during a birth photography session. ❤️❤️

I love getting to carve out time at an extended family session for smaller group shots like couples or mom and daughter photos. When you book an extended family session, I dedicate time for full family shot, plus a variety of all the other combinations! These sessions are always so fun and so meaningful.

I still pinch myself that this is my job. Getting the absolute honor of being invited in to those first days with your baby. My goal with newborn lifestyle sessions is to always have a natural flow with your family, to keep it calm, joyful, and stress free 🫶🏻
