Hi, I’m Crys. The face behind the camera. It's been a while since I've done one, so I wanted to introduce myself. 🤍
I’m a wife, a homeschooling mama to three little ones, and someone who finds so much beauty in the simple things. When I’m not behind the camera, you can usually find me baking gluten free goodies for my small home bakery or for friends and family, outside soaking up sunshine, or somewhere near the water with my babies and husband. Nature has always felt peaceful and inspiring to me. The flowers, the light, the tiny little details most people pass by. I think that is why photography feels so natural to me.
I have always loved photography and documenting memories. Life moves so quickly, seasons change before we are ready, and photos become the pieces we hold onto when memories begin to fade. Being trusted to preserve those moments for families is something I will never take lightly.
My husband bought my camera as a gift to me in 2020 and I started as a hobbyist and completely fell in love with it. I spent years learning my gear, investing in education, lenses, and software, and truly pouring myself into this craft before officially pursuing photography professionally in early 2024. Since then, I have obtained my LLC and built a business centered around genuine connection and storytelling.
Working with people, especially children, is truly one of my favorite things. I volunteer in my church’s children’s ministry, and honestly, the beautiful chaos kids bring to sessions is something I adore. I never expect perfection. I want the laughter, the movement, the real moments that make your family yours.
When you hire me, you are getting more than someone to simply take photos. I want to know you. I want you to feel comfortable, seen, and cared for. I will probably stay after your session just talking and laughing with you because connection matters deeply to me.
Photography is not just a job for me. It is preserving the moments that become part of your story, and it is one of the greatest honors of my life to be invited into them.
