I love black and white photos. What is it about taking away the color where they feel so nostalgic? I loved your cloudy day photos with your sweet little dancer who loves being in front of the camera!

These photos reunited me with a friend I grew up with. It was so beautiful to see my friend as a wife and a mother. Her beautiful family was so kind and fun! Some sessions just fill my heart and this was one of them.

I just had to share a few photos I took during Ashleigh Maxey and Brooke Martin Newborn Photography Workshop at The Homestead Studio Collective. I loved learning from both of these talented women, and their new studio is such a dream space for newborn photography.

I wanted to create a photo session that was in the price range of a Valentines Day gift...here it is! These are 15 minute photo sessions taken on February 1st at Lake Arcadia during golden hour. It costs $75 and you will have time to order prints that will arrive before February 14th. It might be cold so I am picturing cute beanies, sweaters, and coats! I will give you 10 images in color and timeless black and white. I will guide you through a few poses, and I hope it will be fun, quick and painless. So I am going to do a small price increase on March 1st. If you are always looking for ways to save money like me, then this would be a good time to book. To all my friends who grew up in the 90s with disposable cameras—I just bought a lens made from a disposable camera. I know snow pictures were cool last week, but I am just now getting around to posting mine! These were taken with my new disposable camera lens, and it immediately makes me feel like these moments playing in the snow are memories made. It’s like looking at my kids through the lens of my childhood. It feels a little weird to take a nice camera and put a bad lens on it, but I am kinda in love with the outcome! What do you think?!

Am I too late? It’s already January 9th, but I think it’s important to take a moment and look back on 2024. It was a hard year personally, but these images remind me of the beauty I was able to experience through photography. With the deepest gratitude—thank you to everyone who booked a photo session with me in 2024. Alright now, everyone stay warm in this snow!
