I really do love doing these headshot pop-ups.

3-5 minutes. I tell you exactly what to do. We laugh a little. You don’t have to figure out how to pose or what to do with your hands 😂 and before you know it, we’re done.

I love being able to make something that can feel awkward or intimidating actually feel really simple.

I loved getting to spend some time with this team while I was in Texas…not only updating their photos, but getting to know the people behind the ministry.

Church staff headshots are still one of my favorite things to photograph.

Your staff photos are often one of the first introductions someone has to the people behind your church, whether they’re visiting your website, planning their first visit, or just trying to put a face with a name.

Having current, consistent headshots helps your church feel welcoming, organized and personal before someone ever walks through the doors.

If you’re constantly second guessing yourself during a session and wondering if your client likes what you’re doing, this is something I had to learn…

For a long time, I think I put way too much pressure on myself to figure out exactly what every client wanted.

Do they like this pose?
Should I try something different?
Is this what they had in mind?

But somewhere along the way, I realized… they already saw my work before they hired me.

Your client hired you for a reason. They don’t need you to become a different photographer for them. They need you to take the lead and give them the experience they saw in your work.

The more I trusted my own creativity, the better experience I was able to give my clients.🤍
