The sweetest little babe 🤍

Reminder that I offer lifestyle newborn sessions- which means I love to capture the whole family snuggling with baby, and then some solo shots like this one. However I don’t currently offer posed newborn sessions (baby in basket, props, etc) but that option may be available in the future!

I have had quite a few inquiries regarding newborn shoots, so I wanted to get on here and clarify what I offer. I am always open to share the names of other amazing photographers for those clients who prefer an in-studio take on newborn sessions ❤️

10 things I do as a photographer to prepare for a photoshoot:

1. Research the location and create a shot list/mood board of images you want to capture. I like to check with my clients to see if they have any “must haves” prior to the shoot.

2. Make sure you have all of your equipment (camera, lenses, sd cards, extra batteries, etc) I check for mine 500,000 times before the shoot and on the way 😂

3. Arrive at the location early to scout the area.

4. Have a plan for lighting and angles. Especially in Florida, you don’t know if you’re going to get cloudy hour or golden hour lol

5. Take time to adjust your settings and double-check the composition of each shot.

6. Take several shots of the same scene from different angles and perspectives.

7. Shoot in RAW format to give yourself the most editing flexibility. I also prefer setting my white balance to Kelvin.

8. Check your images frequently to ensure you are getting the shots you want.

9. Don’t forget to take time to capture candid moments and poses.

10. Have fun and enjoy the process!
