A little sneak peek for Ethan’s senior session 🎓

Last night was one of those sessions that didn’t feel rushed or stiff or overly posed just a really good evening with really good people. 🥰
What started as senior photos turned into family photos, laughter, stories, and staying out till sunset, and those are usually the best kinds of sessions.
Ethan is graduating this year and stepping into a path that already seems to fit him so well. But more than anything else, what stood out to me was just who he is. There’s a genuine kindness in him that you don’t come across a whole lot anymore. Funny, respectful, and real.
And as a mom, as a photographer, and just as someone watching from the outside, that’s huge.
I pray he stays grounded, stays humble, stays teachable, and keeps walking the path the Lord has before him. The world does not need less young men like this, it needs more.

So thankful for this evening and this family.

Hello again 🤍

It’s been a long while since anything was shared here…life grew, seasons changed, and this little page rested quietly in the background.

Years ago, this space began as Karis’s soap-making adventure. What started with curious hands and simple ingredients planted something lasting: a love for creating together.

This weekend, Karis and I are back at the table (making hand salves and lip balms side by side) and Orange & Olive is beginning again as a mother–daughter project rooted in care, learning, and slow, handmade work.

For Valentine’s Day, we’ll be teaming up with Grove & Grace Co. and Old Florida Cookie Co. to offer a limited number of Valentine’s boxes.
Each box will include:
• a handcrafted bracelet
• a homemade heart-shaped brownie
• handmade lip balm
• handmade hand salve
• handmade reusable beeswax wrap

Thoughtfully made, simply packaged, and created together with love.

Sneak Peek | Antonio – Class of 2026

I had the honor of photographing Antonio tonight…he’s graduating this year, runs his own car detailing business, and has one of the kindest hearts. It was such a joy chatting with his mom and seeing the bond they share.

A few of these brought tears to my eyes (that I quickly blinked away)…because as I watch my own kids grow and change, I’m reminded that they’re gifts we only get to hold for a short time. Nothing is wasted (not the good, the hard, or the in-between) it’s all shaping who they’re becoming.

Watching Antonio step into this new season, I couldn’t help but think: she’s done well shepherding her son. And now, he gets to take everything he’s learned and make his own way…grounded, capable, and ready.

Lately, I’ve been reflecting on the heart behind my photography business and the direction I want it to grow. More than just taking beautiful photos, I want this to be something intentional…a way to slow down, connect with people, and tell their stories in a way that truly reflects who they are.

Photography has always been about more than the images for me. It’s about the moments before and after the camera clicks; the conversations, the laughter, the chance to learn someone’s personality and let it shine through in the final gallery. I want this business to feel like a ministry in its own way… a way to celebrate life, people, and the unique stories God is writing in each season.

As we head into cooler weather here in Florida (finally!), I’m opening my fall calendar for portrait sessions. Whether it’s family photos, seniors, or capturing milestones, and everything in between I’d love to help you tell your story in a way that feels genuine and memorable.
