FAQ: How long have you been doing photography?

She guessed it😉.. FOUR years!

It has been the biggest, unexpected blessing. I never imagined where I would be now when I bought my first used, "professional" camera.

Don't forget to document those special interests. Whether it's a favorite sport, hobby, or even a favorite toy, teddy or book for the younger ones - we can incorporate it into their session.

"You're so lucky you get to take baby's photos."
Yes, it is fun.
It really is a blessing to me
& I LOVE all the baby snuggles.
But NO, my camera doesn't do all the work. 😆

📣June & July babes...

July is packed FULL of babies (which can affect June if babies arrive early or some may run into August). As soon as you have your little one or if you schedule an induction/c-section date, reach out within a day or two to set your session date. The date used when reserving your newborn session serves as a placeholder, it is not your actual session date. With my son being home for the summer and a short trip we have planned in July, I'm working with a tight schedule and I want to make sure that everyone gets scheduled for a date that works best for them.

Thank you for letting me capture this sweet time for your family.

Did I catch a blink or was he asleep and wake up?..
I'll never tell. 😆Just kidding, he was awake at the beginning of his session, but he gave in and eventually went to sleep.

You may have wondered- "Why do photographers want sleeping newborns?"

We love a good open eyes shot, BUT sleepy babies are happy and relaxed. An awake baby can be less "posable". Not to mention, it's really hard to get a newborn to look at the camera.
