Capturing the magic of the season in the comfort of your own home! 🎅🏼🎄🌟

I’ll come to your home to document your family in your own Christmas surroundings, capturing the genuine moments, little traditions, and connections that make this season special. Think decorating the tree, baking Christmas cookies, playing games, snuggling on the couch, or simply being together. You can even step outside for a few photos!

This is like a two-in-one: get your Christmas card photos and a little lifestyle family shoot. Guaranteeing a one-week gallery delivery so you can get your photos in time for holiday cards.

When you deliver 50 photos and IG says I need to only choose 20 😏

I got with the sweetest and cutest family to do a shoot at a pumping patch Hunt Farms! Big love to Ariel Abramowitz with Monarch & Mae | Utah Mothers + Littles for being so easy-going and fun to work with. My shooting time was over and I still ended up hanging out with them until they were ready to leave 😂

I absolutely love shooting in this type of environment and editing style. An environment that is conducive to interaction and play. Capturing natural moments of connection with a cozy and nostalgic editing style. At family shoots, I expect your kids to be kids 🙂 whether it’s being wild, dancing, jumping, crying, or even throwing a tantrum. I’m here for it all! This is the season of life and we do what we do best as parents - roll with it and enjoy the ride.

If you want your family photos to be unique and not look like everyone else’s, then let’s tell YOUR story. All you have to do is be present and create connection with your loved ones, and I will capture the sweet moments. I do give some direction, but I am mostly trying to make you all feel comfortable and relaxed.

Floral water shoot but with Halloween colors 🖤 🧡

Most photographers do not share their RAW photos and I hope this slide helps explain why. You can see how the editing literally brings the photo to life!

Typically, I don’t really show a client any photos on my camera while we are in a session. It just takes up more time, and what is shown on my camera is not my complete vision. The RAW images are dark (as you can see). This is intentional. Underexposing shots holds the fine details of an image. If I overexpose (make it really bright), it gets blown out and details get lost. It’s much better and easier to add light back in during editing.

I also used a technique called dodging and burning. This is taking a paint brush in Photoshop and darkening or lightening certain areas. I’m literally painting (via a computer)!

Anyways, if you’ve read this far, let me tell you how amazing Sami Jean • intuitive energy guide is for doing this shoot. The water was so cold and she still looks majestic! Thankfully I have a hot tub. so she hopped in it right after to warm up 🥰 we had a lot of fun getting together and creating this. It’s pumpkin patch season! 🧡🤎🤍

There’s honestly so many cute spots for photos at Utah Corn Maze and Pumpkin patch. I just so happen to have my camera in the car. I wanted to be present and not play with my camera the whole time, but a few fun shots were warranted 😍

This would be a cute idea for a documentary style shoot with the family!

A little excerpt on tipping…

I personally believe tipping has gotten really out of hands these days. The cost of living has sky rocketed and so has the amount of people that ask for a tip at checkout. While I believe some services warrant gratuity, most other things do not.

I’d like for my clients to know that tipping is truly never expected. You will get the same, great service and attention to detail whether you tip or not! I charge what I would like to make per session that way I don’t make my income dependent on you “tipping”. In fact, I had the option to tip turned off in my booking system for a while. After several clients personally messaged me asking to tip, I decided to turn it on. Some people feel gratitude and want to grace me with gratuity. It’s there for those who want to. It’s a really appreciated and nice gesture when someone tips, but it’s never not a nice gesture when someone doesn’t tip. So, just know that when you are booking with me, you don’t have to stress about that extra question in the booking process.
