Itā€™s been a while. Iā€™ve spent the last little bit trying to understand why creativity suddenly felt so heavyā€”and I realized a lot of my anxiety came from people photography and the pressure I put on myself to always measure up.

So Iā€™m giving myself permission to step back.
Iā€™m returning to where my love for photography truly began: animals and the natural world.

Here are some bison I photographed out on Antelope Island this past winterā€”quiet, grounding moments that reminded me why I started.

New year and it is time to get back into doing photography!! Please hmu if you are interested in doing a shoot. Would love to start doing more styled shoots/couples photography.
