I wanted to share a little bit about what an in home newborn session actually looks like.
When I had to close my studio, I was heartbroken and honestly pretty scared about what that meant for my newborn sessions. Newborn photography has always been my favorite part of what I do, so the thought of not having a studio for my families was really hard.
But somehow, losing the studio turned out to be a blessing in disguise. I have completely fallen in love with in home newborn sessions, and I may even love them more than studio sessions now. I know, I did not see that coming either.
In home sessions are relaxed, comfortable, and completely personal to each family. You do not have to pack up the entire house, load up the kids, and try to make it to the studio on time. You can stay in your pajamas if you want to, and your kids get to be in their own space where they already feel comfortable.
I get to capture your baby in the place where you are actually starting your life together. In their nursery, in your home, and surrounded by all of the little details that make this season yours. These are the memories you will look back on years from now and remember exactly how those first few weeks felt.
I still capture those simple, timeless newborn portraits, but the session also includes the real moments. The cuddles, the nursery, the siblings, the little details, and all of the beautiful chaos that comes with bringing a new baby home.
I cannot wait to capture more of these sweet babies and give their families a little glimpse into a season that goes by way too fast.
