This face always wears a smile and these eyes are always full a joy! So full of optimism that you would never know how hard he’s worked to get to this day. I had to take a beat & make this milestone, (to some came easy, to him one he’s been fitting to achieve)a big deal!
I knew early on that he had a learning difference. Everyone just wanted to slap an adhd label on him and move on. I knew there was more to it & have been fighting to advocate for him. I’m grateful for a support system that helped me navigate a confusing road to find a true diagnosis. is not something that many people have ever heard of, most educators don’t even understand it. Even being told by school professionals, “that by his age, it’s too late for improvement.” I’ll never give up on him or allow anyone else to either. I’ll continue to celebrate his wins and accomplishments & I’ll continue to push not only him but others to understand and support our kids!
So congratulations to my guy! Dominooch… we’re so excited to see all that awaits!
