🚁🐋 Yesterday on Oceanside Adventures, we encountered a solo adult gray whale traveling northbound, near the coast of Del Mar beach and just north of Oceanside Harbor.

The whale was migrating from the lagoons of Baja California, Mexico up to the Bering and Chukchi seas, located between Alaska and Russia.

Gray whales travel 10,000-12,000 miles round trip every year, the longest known migration of any mammal. They average about 75 miles a day at a speed of approximately 5 miles per hour.

🏟️🎶🚁 The NFL's Tennessee Titans play on a synthetic turf field at Nissan Stadium in Nashville, which was installed in 2023 to address issues with maintaining a consistent natural grass field and to potentially reduce injuries. The current stadium will be replaced by a new, enclosed stadium expected to open in 2027.
