Yaniz and I met Swardy on April 25 at the Brewery Artwalk earlier this year and he told us about his musical work and audiovisuals work which is amazing. We were really pulled into buying one of his earliest works, Compact Objects on vinyl, which for me has become musical therapy to explore my mind 😌.
But wait there is more 🤯 - Swardy also worked with a bunch of cool artists to create an animated short (linked below) of Compact Objects which is super cool and you have to watch it! It blew my mind! This animated short led me to watch more of his videos, even his 2021 performance on porter robinson 's Secret Sky. Well you can tell, I have been hooked ever since. His creativity and musical talent is something I admire from just listening and watching his videos. On the day I took this picture in my film point and shoot camera, I asked Swardy if flash was okay since we were indoors and after taking it I told him, if you NEVER see this picture I probably screwed up really bad 😅, but I actually love it, and have just been wanting to dedicate some time to write my thoughts on my amazing experience listening and checking out his work.
