What impresses me about this company is how much they invest in their team members: they offer monthly leadership development, ongoing trainings and an office staff that truly takes care of their team and customers.

That’s what I get to witness when I step in to document a day in the life of a business: I get to see and hear the real deal. And I can tell you that this women-owned company is working hard every day to excel and take care of their people.

Celebrating our 10th wedding anniversary!

I met Rick in 1989 at the Cherokee high school homecoming dance in Marlon NJ. We hit it off immediately, sparks flew.

I already loved his mom - Mrs. Worthington, the best 8th grade teacher on the planet. Little did I know that many decades later I would be lucky enough to call her my mother-in-law.

I didn’t see him much after high school. We lost touch.

Facebook revealed that Rick and I both lived in Southern California and when we reconnected and it was like being back in HS, but better! Because we weren’t teenagers any more. I was so impressed with the man that he had become since I had seen him last. Sparks flew again.

And here we are, 10 years after saying “I do”… just a couple of kids living their best lives in San Diego. Our teenage selves would be so stoked to know how their story ended up!!

Rick, I’m so glad I accepted your Facebook flirtations. I love you!
