Well, I was late to the party. I went to shoot the mural that used to be to the left of this run off but its been painted over. Its a great lesson for me! You never know how long something will be around, mother later or the city can take it from us at a moments notice!

I was pretty skeptical about the sunset last night. Sometimes it’s a fine line between too much clouds and not enough. For a while there I thought it was too much but then 10 minutes after the sun went down, this happens! Especially with lots of clouds it pays to stick around after the sun goes down to see what happens.

While strolling down the Tiber river we were lucky enough to catch this show! I knew I wanted to catch sunset at this vantage point but I wasn’t sure where to go. While we were shopping earlier that day we bought a painting from a street artist. He was kind enough to share the location with us and tell us how to get there. The Italians were so wonderfully sweet ❤️. And damn, did we pick the right evening for this sunset! .

Black and White VS Color, whats your preference?

It was totally worth the early wake up call to catch this amazing sunrise at the Trevi Fountain! We were completely exhausted and this was the last day of our honeymoon but I knew I wanted to capture this amazing work of art and I wanted there to be the least amount of people possible. So my amazing husband dragged me out of bed and we went for it. There was a surprising amount of people here but nothing like it was just a few hours later. .

It rained on our first day in Rome, I immediately thought I have to get a reflection of St Peters Basilica! So we made our way there and found “the puddle” but someone had already claimed that space and I couldn’t get in for the shot I needed. So we went for dinner and wine in Campo De Fiori and went back later. Luckily the spot was available and the rain had let up for more friendly shooting conditions. Rome and The Vatican City really come to life after dark, one of the most beautiful places in the world 🌎 . .
