I genuinely think one of the best decisions you can make for your wedding day is giving yourselves time to disappear together for a little while.
Not for a photo checklist.
Not for content.
Just to breathe, touch base, and actually experience what just happened.
Some of my favorite images are created during those quiet in between moments when the timeline pauses for a second and the day finally sinks in. The wind, the nerves, the relief, the excitement, the “we actually did it” feeling.
Those are the photos that age beautifully because they felt real when they were taken.
in this case, we took a beat, drove up the road and explored some beautiful gardens in the neighborhood and these are some of my favorite shots of the day!
