Tonight's wedding was witnessing Rachel and Dillion as they eloped, just the two of them in an intimate ceremony by the water's edge. Slight wind grazed the sand, but the sun shinned so brightly.

All the way from Ohio, these two came to OC to rock out the weekend at Oceans Calling enjoying several bands over the days. But first, they decided to begin their weekend MARRIED!

Lele + Trey

By far the most magical and heartfelt wedding I have ever been able to capture. Lele and Trey began their ceremony with a "first touch and prayer". Their family and friends witnessed a true fairy tale as these two committed to walk through life together forever. With the veil draped over Lele, her father removing as Trey shook her father's hand. They spoke words of love, prayer and sealed their marriage with the most epic dip kiss I have EVER seen.

Coastal 59 Venue did a beautiful job in the dinner set up, with wild flowers, green and gold accents throughout, and not only did they have a gorgeous cake, but let's talk about these cupcakes.

Come on, it's a nice day for a white wedding!

Capturing the love between Nelsy & Rashawn was like bottling up a little bit of magic. Thier guests, family and friends all got the memo ... show up wearing white! Not only did it make for amazing group photos, but it brought everyone together in its own special way.

The day was perfect .. and let's face it ... they make a pretty stunning couple.

Running through this weekend like .....

Few days remain for those summer beach sessions. To the mamas that imagine having those picture-perfect sit-down sessions, sometimes they may not always work out, and I am here to tell you that is okay!! Sometimes those candid, in the moment freezes turn out to be the most magical ones. They are only little once, be sure to capture their personalities for exactly who they are! You will look back years from now and be so glad you did!

Just a quick sneak peek on my first session from yesterday. With hurricane Erin making her appearance on the shore, no swimming allowed, and minimal access to the beach due to flooding ... I wasn't sure about it, as I had four family sessions scheduled.

This beautiful lady said, "lets go for it", and off we went! The waves were HUGE, the tide coming over the embankment, but the summer air was perfect.

Being the fourth summer capturing this precious family, we had to get a little creative, but with the glass look from the water, this session could not have been any more perfect (and the three that followed)
