Jamie, Nick and I spent a crisp March morning visiting a few of their favorite D.C. spots - places that already hold so much meaning in their story. One of those spots is Union Station, where their wedding will take place later this year!

As part of my Family Style experience, their engagement session wasn’t rushed. We had the freedom to hit multiple spots, take our time, play with the light, textures and beauty of DC - and document each location in a way that met their vision.

Jamie shared with me that she’s drawn to dramatic light, motion, and the timelessness of black and white imagery and I said SAY LESS ✨🤩

Heartfelt, warm, and raw. These are the words that come to mind when I look back over some of the sneak peeks I sent to Kaitlin and Scott after their wedding this past weekend.

Their energy was contagious, and every frame shows that passion. Their images tell the story of their weekend with a kind of texture and emotion that’s almost tangible. They were present in a way that not everyone is able to achieve on their wedding day, and hired a team of vendors they trusted and wanted there - and boy does it show in the photos.

Reception candids: a beautiful mixture of elation, nerves relaxing, letting loose on the dane floor, bonding through speeches expressing sentiments not always said aloud. Great music. Shoes kicked off. Hair is let down. Snacks and drinks served and poured and passed around. Hugs, laughter, and sometimes tears circulate the room.

Receptions are such a beautiful whirlwind of emotions, of moments of connection…

The couple are officially newlyweds and everyone there can feel a shift in the energy. They’re all witnessing something special; a moment of their history that is tangible and unable to be rewritten.

My little candid-loving heart absolutely loves to capture these moments in all their varied beauty. 🫶

I honestly don’t even know what to say - this weekend several of my deepest passions collided in a way I’ve never experienced and I feel overwhelmed in the best way. Horses, western riding & fashion, the mountains, snow, photography….7 year old me thinks 34 year old me is pretty dang cool right now 🥲 She’s also wondering when I’m gonna get back in the saddle?? 👀😆 Any tips on where I should ride out here in CO would be SO appreciated 🐎🫶🙏

So many of my loves collided today - horses, badass cowgirls and cowboys, the mountains, snow, athletes, fashion, photography, and even some cool birds…what a fantastic experience finally getting to see the Leadville Ski Joring in person!!

Hey, 👋 I’m Paige.

I’m a wedding photographer based in Washington, D.C and Denver, Colorado. I’ve been in the wedding industry for over 12 years, have been shooting weddings for 9… and fall more in love with my job every year.

I strive to make photography a seamless, enjoyable experience for my couples.

Serving you from the heart, and meeting you where you’re at, all while capturing your moments in a way that blends my artistic eye with images that tell the truth of your day, and edits that will stand the test of time.

Here’s some random facts about me to get us started getting to know one another:

- I grew up on a horse farm, and a love for the outdoors is deeply engrained in me.
- My happy place is sitting with my feet in a creek without a phone in sight.
- I’m a new(ish) bird nerd. I welcome and deserve roasting for that.
- I’m a big comedy fan! My husband and I saw in Denver fall of ‘24, she was phenomenal. Big respect for comedians!
- Other hobbies I love: mountain biking, dirt biking, painting, horseback riding, baking, reading, camping
- My husband built a custom Sprinter van and we travel the country as much as we can!

Bridal portraits are where grace meets emotion — a quiet pause to honor the magic of the moment ✨

Carolina shared with me before her wedding day that bridal portraits were important to her. Carving out time to intentionally preserve those precious moments…the moments before stepping into forever with Ryan.

We did just that, leaving plenty of room in the timeline to get creative, to use the endless inspiration of the architecture at Tacaro Estate, to have fun! Still leaving time for getting zipped into her dress by her Mom and Aunt. For lingering hugs with her girls, their eyes glistening while taking it all in. And I’ll never forget that breathtaking moment when she looked in the mirror and had her, “I’m a bride” moment.

One conversation was all it took to see what their day would truly be about: being present and celebrating love in its most genuine form.

“Ultimately, the people around us are the most important element, and we’re looking forward to sharing our joy with them.”

Those were Anya and Justin’s words the first time we spoke, and I knew their wedding would be something special. Their hearts were rooted in connection. Surrounded by laughter, love, and the people who mean the most.

We took portraits in quiet moments throughout the day, maybe 30 minutes total, and then let everything unfold naturally. What followed felt effortless and real ✨ Hugs that lingered, smiles that reached their eyes, and joy filling every corner.

Watching them so fully present reminded me why I love this work. It’s never about perfection; it’s about feeling the day as it happens and seeing the beauty within it.
