I’ve spoken more on my personal page but I wanted to make sure my public forum includes my personal views. If you do not subscribe to the movement then please either educate yourself or if you’re choosing to be ignorant, then please find your way off my page. Gone, and rightfully so, are the times where you can hide behind your privilege and choose to ignore what is happening to Black members of our community. I’ll be reposting resources I find, trying to elevate and educate. We don’t always have the money to donate and I’m the first person to understand that. Education, however, is almost always free with a quick google search or with a small fee at a Black-owned Bookstore to read more. There really is no excuse for ignorance at this point and anything less is someone’s active choice to turn to racism. Complacency is a form of racism. We have a responsibility to not only not be a racist but even more so ANTI-RACIST, which is an active role in quashing all forms of racism in your community and social circles.
