It’s been a while since I’ve shared my work here. Let’s just say my life has changed a lot in the past 2 yrs. I didn’t stop taking photos, I just had to stop being active here. I could bore you with the details and yet it’s not worth it. All I have to say is that I’m back 🤍

Wow, it’s crazy to see time fly. I started coaching Katerina figure skating when she was 11 years old, and now she’s graduated high school. She’s a hard working young lady, from 5:30 am practices to 8 pm online workouts, she is determined. I cannot wait to see you go places Katerina! Never stop being yourself.

A recent studio session left me speechless. I say that often if I’m being honest about John. John leaves me speechless by the way he cares, by the way he loves, by the way he pursues Jesus. If you don’t know John, I recommend you do. God blessed me with a good one and I constantly ask Jesus for guidance on how to steward him properly because “like hi 🙋🏼‍♀️”

Dipping into the black and whites for this lovely bridal portraits. Sarah called me on Tuesday to tell me her wedding was rescheduled due to the shut downs. All of her vendors could reschedule to a new date so her and Jonathan were going to have an intimate wedding ceremony at our church. Regardless of the drama and rain, their wedding was beautiful. Stay tune for the highlights.

When Alysia told me that the last time her and Spencer got pictures was their wedding day, my heart broke. The best thing you can do for your children is get photos taken. It doesn’t have to be every year, but set aside time and get them done every couple of years. I know I wish I had more photos of my parents together. Your children will thank you when they can show their children’s children who you were, what looked like and how much they loved you.

I’ve known the Dech family for years now. I have been working with Alysia and Hayley on the ice for a couple of seasons. They are so much fun to work with! This season has been tough. Being benched from the ice due to a nerve problem has left me missing my students and coaching so much. Needless to say, our shoot went amazing! I like to think that we both had fun and the photos are merely the proof needed to back up that claim.
