Spent a well deserved at the this past weekend, and went to for the first time in quite a while!

For some time now I've wanted to create a long exposure picture with a . This weekend was the perfect opportunity to do so considering the beach had only a fraction of the normal tourists.

I think what I like most about long exposure pictures is that is gives me a sense of calmness in a scene that could be chaotic. The photos from the Ocean City Pier below are a good example of this. If you look towards the end of the pier, there is a "fog". This "fog" is a result of a shutter speed of between 3 and 8 seconds, which allows the camera to capture the movement and energy of the ocean waves breaking on the pillars!

Spring time is finally upon us! Osprey return to us once again, and other wildlife begin to increase their activity. Also, I have been seeing more and more Bald Eagles in our area! Did you know one lives on top of the water tower? Keep your eyes out for it!

A couple months ago I had the honor of photographing my friends wedding down in Southern Maryland. What an experience that was. Having never shot a wedding or formally done portraits for a couple, this was quite the learning experience for me. One of the most memorable things for me from this experience, was taking some time out of our day's adventures to look for tiny sharks teeth.

Getting ready for a couple upcoming shows! You can find me 12/4 at the GVFD show from 10-3pm! You can also find me 12/5 at the Everything Market at the American Legion on route 8 from 10-2pm! I've even refurbished some frames, which will be available as well.

I would like to give a big thank you to everyone who came out to the Everything Markets this past summer. It means a lot to me, and the other local crafters, that you came out to show your support.

I started this as a way that I could physically share my pictures to everyone, rather than on a screen. I also wanted to give those that really enjoy my artwork, the opportunity to take it home with them to enjoy everyday and share with their friends and family.

Please continue to look for my posts as I will occasionally share new and exciting things here. I do not currently have any shows planned, but that does not the pictures aren't off limits. If there is something that would look good in your home, please don't hesitate to send me a message!

Another Everything Market! 9am to 2pm at the American Legion! If you cannot make it this time, you will be able to catch me one more time on October 2nd.

In addition to my pictures of local scenes and wildlife, I've started making liquor bottle cups! These are perfect for your home bar, use them as house planters, or whatever else you can think of!

I am excited to announce that I will be participating in the Everything Market this summer! Everything Market will be held at the American Legion down Route 8, is the same field it was in last summer. I cannot wait to see everyone outside again this summer!
