It’s been a while … I’ve stepped away from photography and posting on FB and Instagram. Life has gotten kind of crazy latey. I’m really hoping things slow down in my life and I get back to some fresh photos. I’ve been shooting with Sony for years but I just made a recent purchase…a Canon 5D Mark IV. Yes, I know it’s a DSLR and Yes, I know it 2026 but I have a tendency to go with the best and go backwards. I’ve been shooting more 35mm film than my digital Sony’s. So this new purchase is middle of the tech road. I love Sony but I also love Canon’s color science. Well Stay Tune and hopefully I’ll be posting some great Canon pics soon. Stay Safe out there!!! 📸🙌

WHAT…35mm Film Photography???
That’s right and it’s coming with some challenges. Over the last several months I’ve barely used my Sony a7 or my Sony a6500. I have picked back up my mid ‘80’s Pentax K1000 35mm Film camera with a prime Pentax 50mm f2 lens. I felt like I needed to go back and try film again. I miss the convenience of digital but over the last couple months it made me think a lot more about the fundamentals of photography that I learned in my High School years. The film I used was old and still in my camera case from years ago. So I’m not surprised when I saw these photos and instantly felt a level of nostalgia. I hope you enjoy the vintage feel of these photos 👍👍!
