Heavenly Father,

We come before You with humble hearts, recognizing Your power and sovereignty over all creation. Today, we lift up those who find themselves in the path of Hurricane Idalia. We ask for Your divine hand of protection and guidance to be upon them during this challenging time.

Lord, You alone are our refuge and strength, a present help in times of trouble. We seek Your mercy and compassion to encompass those who are in harm's way, sheltering them from the destructive forces of the storm. Provide them with the strength to endure and the assurance that You are with them, guiding their steps.

We pray for the safety and well-being of every individual and family who will be impacted by Hurricane Idalia. Surround them with Your love and peace, calming their fears and bringing them comfort amidst the chaos. Grant them wisdom to make the right decisions and guide them away from harm's reach.

As Your Word reminds us in Psalm 91:4, "He will cover you with his feathers, and under his wings you will find refuge; his faithfulness will be your shield and rampart." We hold onto this promise, knowing that You are our ultimate protector. May Your constant presence be a shield of defense for all those affected by this storm.

Father, we also pray for the emergency responders and relief organizations who are working tirelessly to assist those in need. Strengthen them, provide them with wisdom and discernment, and surround them with Your angels of protection. Help them to be a source of comfort and hope for those who are suffering.

In the midst of this crisis, may Your love shine brightly through the compassion and generosity of individuals and communities coming together to support one another. May we be motivated by Your love to extend a helping hand, provide shelter, and meet the needs of those who have been affected.

We trust in Your unfailing love and faithfulness, knowing that You are always with us, even in the face of storms. May Your peace that surpasses all understanding guard the hearts and minds of those in the path of Hurricane Idalia.

In the name of Jesus, our Savior and Protector, we pray.

Throwback to this amazing moment captured about a decade ago in Melbourne, Florida! It's a true oldie but a goodie. Here we have a mother and daughter having a blast while catching some waves. We decided to get creative and play around with AI for the first time, adding in a touch of fun with the island, sailboat, and pelican. But let's not forget, the real stars of the show are the girls on their surfboards, riding the waves in the beautiful ocean.

We are traveling April 1st. April 5th is Surgery, if all goes well, he will discharge on April 10th or 11th. We are traveling back to Ocala April 12th and plan on a couple nightly stops. Our return home should be April 14th. Hopefully Jake will ride comfortable enough. Flying is not an option for lung surgery.

Last trip to MD Anderson was 7 days and this trip will be 14 days, if all goes well. Which it will! God has this!

This is our son Jake Diaz, 29 years old. He is a wonderful young man with a big heart. Jake is in good spirits, and we thank God for keeping him strong. Please share and say a prayer.
We are headed March 4th to MD Anderson Cancer Center and Jake consultations, texts and procedures scheduled March 6th, 7th and 8th, 2023
Thank you, Jennifer Gibson, for thinking of us and creating this GoFundMe to help with the expenses. I am at a loss for words and don't even know how to thank you or any of our friends that have kept Jake and us in your prayers! . We are truly blessed to have friends like you and Bobby Gibson and the many more friends and family that have kept us in their prayers through our trials and tribulations.
With many in and out of testing, doctors' offices, Moffitt Cancer Center, Ocala Oncology, we are seeking out of network help. Those that know us, know that Jake has had medical battles going back 5 years ago. Diagnosed with Alph-1 Antitrypsin deficiency, his treatment is weekly infusions every Monday for the rest of his life. Jake is now facing yet another battle. Since April of last year this was discovered in his plural lung between ribs 8 & 9. Jake has changed his diet and has taken some holistic natural approaches to battle this thing. The doctors have been indecisive as to what this is and how to treat it. This is the reason we are seeking an outside source, so that we can get a 3rd opinion. It is almost a year later and there is still not a treatment plan that the doctors can agree on, yet they all agree, this needs to be addressed before it could become worse. While we have waited, Jake has been faithfully taking care of his body, no sugars, no animal fat or unhealthy food to feed this thing and replaces with Cancer fighting foods and supplements. God has blessed us, that all the PTscans and the CTscan, this thing has not grown or spread.
