I’m incredibly honored to share that “All in on the Dig” received an Honorable Mention in the International Photography Awards!

This image was recognized in the Event Competitive Events category, and while it may not have taken one of the top awards, having my work singled out for recognition on an international level means more to me than I can really put into words.

This year’s competition brought together more than 14,000 entries from 139 countries in a wide range of categories, all evaluated by a distinguished international jury of photography experts. Knowing this photograph stood out among so many incredible images is both humbling and exciting.

And an extra surprise I’m still taking in—my name will also be included in the IPA Annual Book of Photography.

Photography has always been about more than creating a pretty picture for me. It’s about seeing the moment, anticipating the story, and preserving something that disappeared almost as quickly as it happened.

I’m grateful that this one was seen.

International Photography Awards

Three of my five images submitted to the International Photography Awards have been named Official Selections in their categories.

The last two years I have submitted, I celebrated having only one image selected. This year… three. 💛

I don’t take moments like this for granted. Every image represents an early morning, quiet patience, an eye to see exactly when to hit the shutter, and a reminder that perseverance matters.

I’m incredibly honored, deeply grateful, and excited to see where this journey continues. Thank you to everyone who has encouraged, supported, and believed in my work along the way.

Congratulations to all of the other Official Selections. It is an honor to be among such talented photographers.
