Well, THIS will be fun!

Coming up in just a couple of weeks... Get your tickets now to join us on Sunday, June 28 at 2 p.m. for VOICES OF THE CIVIC! It will be a spectacular event as the often-unsung heroes of The Civic step into the spotlight to entertain you. You’ve seen several in the casts of our productions. Others are usually found on stage crew. Some work here as staff. But they’re all making a special appearance to showcase their passion and skill. It’s an afternoon of singing, dancing, and instrumental performances, from Broadway classics to diverse musical styles. This is a great opportunity to see our behind-the-scenes stars shine on stage. Don’t miss this celebration of The Civic’s talent and creativity!

In 2010, I started photographing cancer patients who needed a fun day. Free portraits. Let's go big. This was one of my first ones, and we went full-on Alice -- just as cancer pateint, seamstress and supermom Krista Wooten Tindall envisioned. Such a great day. Even better? Krista is doing great. And these kids are, like, adults.

In recent weeks, I have had the honor of photographing two young men who I’ve so enjoyed watching grow up. Perhaps my greatest joy as a photographer is staying with families over the years.
