As a photographer nothing makes me happier than capturing those love filled moments of everyday life. It's World Art Day, cannot think of a better day to share some HUGE NEWS!!!
Last year a client hired me "because I can picture your work hanging in the Whitney." Such a supreme compliment! At the time I blushed and thought "how I wish!"
Fast forward to TOMORROW, when not one, but TWO of my photos will be part of a six week museum exhibit! Even better this year's theme for World Art Day is "You're Not Alone" I can't think of a better descriptor for what I focus on in my work. Actually the title of one of the pieces in this exhibit is "Never Alone."

The show is at in Tampa and runs through May 31st. If you are in the area please check it out! If you are not, there is also a book to accompany the exhibition which is available to pre-ordee https://pictureimperfectbook.square.site
Massive thanks to the Florida Museum of Photographic Arts and curator Marieke van der Krabben for taking the initiative to host a first of its kind exhibit of solely documentary family photography work, and especially@captureology for all the extremely hard work she put into making this happen, I will forever be thankful to you ❤

Documenting kid's birthday parties is always so fun! I think about how much they will treasure the photos when they are older. Especially when they are this little. Everyone is excited for his first bite of that chocolate cupcakes and he is less than impressed. He is going to laugh so hard when he looks through these with his kids. It's been a super busy month here with family sessions, and I wasn't planning on sharing any until after my client's cards go out. But this one from Thanksgiving morning stopped me in my tracks. I am grateful for this family who I've watched grow over the past 5 years. From 3 into 4, with one of the strongest couples I know at the center of it. This is dad, warming up his 2 daughter's hands, because let's be real, it was was early, windy and a very cold California morning! The way he cares for his girls is the stuff women dream of.

I love when mom's book motherhood sessions, it allows me to show them thier inner goddess and still let the kids be kids...

I love when mom's book motherhood sessions, it allows me to show them thier inner goddess and still let the kids be kids and love on thier mama. This mama is the anchor to her 3 girls showing them to to be strong when weathering stormy seas while still being full of love.
