Adriana es un nombre de origen latino que significa 'mujer del mar', haciendo referencia a la antigua ciudad que se desarrolló a origllas del Mar Adriático. Se usa a lo largo y ancho de todo el mundo, encontrándose variantes como Adrianna, Adrianne, Adrijana, Andriana o Hadriana.

Sobre su personalidad, las Adrianas son personas muy activas, decididas y con una gran voluntad por ayudar y hacer la vida más fácil a los que están a su alrededor.

Precisamente por eso es una persona comprensiva, franca y con facilidad para tratar con todo tipo de personas en cualquier situación. De ahí también que sea esa amiga fiel en la que todo el mundo confía para contarle sus más profundos secretos.

Today, I was scheduled to be doing school portraits to a bunch of cute preschoolers. I’m feeling pretty bummed that I can’t do it and not sure when I’ll be able to do them. ⁣

Today feels like a hard day. ⁣
⁣
To turn things around I decided to make a list of things that are going GOOD during our Covid-19 shelter-in-place. ⁣
⁣
1- We’re HEALTHY! ⁣
2- DANCING everyday with others! ⁣
3- Making NEW FRIENDS from all around the world! ⁣
4- is able to work from home!⁣
5- Girls are getting along!⁣
6- Mía is into homeschooling and super disciplined!⁣
7- I’ve reconnected with OLD FRIENDS!⁣
8- Working out so much! Feeling pretty healthy!⁣
9- Donating to great organizations to support others during this time!⁣
10- New Collaborations!⁣
11- Honest conversations with friends.
12- LOVE letters in the mail!⁣

I’m doing a quarantine art project and today’s prompt was JOY! ⁣
⁣
The girls started doing their artwork and asked for photos to include. It’s was the perfect prompt to get me excited! I got our box of photos and oh boy was I filled with JOY going through all of the photos as I was remembering bits and pieces from each foto. ⁣
⁣
I LOVE looking at old photos. They take me back to all the feels, memories and joy! ⁣
⁣
Photos matter! They’re proof that it all happened and this is a time we’ll be talking about for a while so might as well have photos to go along with the stories. ⁣
⁣
Make sure to take the time to take photos & videos of all the things that are happening while at home. From the most exciting to the most mundane. Story time, homeschooling, meal prep, snuggle time, outdoor activity, timeout, home workout and all the chaos. There’s beauty in all of it and it’s all thing we take for granted and swear we’ll remember later. ⁣Photos do it all!

Capture all the things. Use your phone or fancy camera. Whatever is easiest.⁣

There’s a lot of fear and uncertainty being felt these days with the corona virus and not knowing what’s coming next.⁣
⁣
Try not to panic. ⁣
Wash your hands. ⁣
Don’t watch too much news. ⁣
Stay in touch with you’re community. ⁣
⁣
And if you’re stuck at home with your kiddos try to not to go crazy. Enjoy the extra snuggle time, get creative with games and make it fun! And maybe buy extra wine. LOL⁣

Yesterday, as I was hanging out with other photographers and thinking about other sources of income I realized how much I LOVE what I do and how I’m in this for the long haul. I want to continue collaborating with people to capture their magic through my photograph. ⁣⁣

I freaking LOVE it and I want everyone to know it! I’ve been doing photography for 19 years and to this day, I love everything from a stressful night before a family session to seeing the look on my clients faces when they see their photos. It’s pure magic! ⁣⁣
⁣⁣
Most importantly, I love that I get to capture each family’s story and magic so they can have it as proof that it all happened. ⁣⁣

I love it all: the good, the bad, and the incredible! What do you do, and more importantly, what do you LOVE about it?⁣

Today is one more gift that 2020 has for us. it’s Leap Year!⁣⁣

One more day to dance, smile, have a good time and do good for your community. ⁣⁣

Tonight I’ll be dancing and celebrating with my amazing community who all work so hard to support women who are living with cancer. ⁣⁣
⁣⁣
My great friend Andreina Febres-Cordero& Joy created to provide wellness retreats to support women living with cancer to give them the emotional support and community to go through it. ⁣⁣
⁣⁣

Towards the end of last year Ronald and I had fun & interesting conversations about our personal and family dreams. ⁣
⁣
The first out of Ronald’s mouth was that he wants us to end up living somewhere close or on the beach. When he first said it I looked at him as if he was crazy but he spoke about the peace and joy that we get from it and how we want to share it with our girls. ⁣
⁣
After a few days of amazing sunny weather I’m reminded of that joy. I’ve been so happy & in such a good mood just imagine if we could take a swim in the ocean or hang out in the sand to watch the sunset ... oh boy! Talk about the cherry on top. ⁣
⁣
Now we just have to add it to our list of dreams and vision board. I’ve read that if you write down your hopes & dreams you’re 40% more likely to achieve them. ⁣
⁣
What’s on your dream list? ⁣
⁣
Don’t forget to write it down and tell everyone about it so they and the universe can conspire to make it happen. ⁣
