This is my donation to the upcoming East Bay Photo Collective. I am keeping the starting bid low to help them raise money for the photo-centric programming. The starting bid is $200. The frame is hand-made, solid oak. The piece is called ‘infinite jest mid-point’. This image commemorates the moment I dropped my paperback copy of Infinite Jest in the hot tub. It is gum bichromate, on traditional ground, on hydro tech panel, coated with UV soluvar. It’s a lovely little art snack if I have to say so myself.
EBPCO-Fest is Saturday, September 21 from 5-8pm at Sershow Studios, 3436 Dimond Ave, Oakland CA. Or bid for it online.

East Bay Photo Collective has a burgeoning gallery and a public darkroom, along with classes and workshops.

Hey friends! I just had to share this exciting news—my artwork is featured on the landing page of Duncan Miller Gallery. As an artist, I have to do my own marketing and had to double-check the show dates because, honestly, it's tough to keep track of everything, anything really. But seeing my image front and center on a gallery I highly respect made my evening!

My father is making these really cute bar muddlers. The taller one is walnut and maple and the smaller one is walnut.

He is 79 years old and has been crafting with wood all his life. Now he has a condition called restless leg syndrome. It keeps him in perpetual motion. He creates as a survival mechanism. It is quite inspiring.

I really love this new company I have photographed for. The concept is small space vertical farming. The company, Plenty, is located in a warehouse down in South San Francisco. They are growing food for your table using less water, less chemicals, and less space than conventional farming.
