I was lucky enough to have the Marsh family as clients for several years 💜 This past spring, sweet Amelia went home to be with Jesus after a horrible accident.
Amelia was so special! There wasn’t a dull room she entered, or a person who felt down in her presence. She loved Jesus, and loved to share her bright light with everyone she met. Our mountain community will forever remember her!
Her sweet mama Andrea, has been such an inspiration to watch as she has walked her path of grief and healing. Her faith is something you can only describe as beautiful. Andrea has decided to honor Amelia in a way that has Amelia smiling so big from Heaven. She has started Amelia Sprinkle Gifts.
These are gifts Andrea is putting together for women who need a pick me up and to know they are not alone. Since posting online, she has received several nominations and would love to continue to sprinkle Amelia’s love and spirit onto those in need.

Since launching minis yesterday I’ve gotten A LOT of messages about senior sessions. YES I still offer them ❤️ there is something extra special about this season of life that I just adore. Our mini sessions can also be booked for your senior!

It’s that time of year again! How is it already fall?! That means we are gearing up for our fall mini sessions 🎉but this year is a little extra special, we are going to be sponsoring some amazing athletes!
This year, for every session booked we will be donating $50 to Minarets Youth Competition Cheer. This is very near and dear to my heart. And I can’t wait to give back to these special girls. 💜💛

In all seriousness… sunrise early morning sessions are JUST as pretty as sunset session. And IMO the ONLY way to rock a summer session.

My heart is breaking 💔
as the continues to grow with 0% containment… more and more of our beautiful Yosemite National Park gets destroyed.
I have spent so many sunrises and sunsets capturing some unforgettable memories for our clients in this beautiful place. There’s a reason we call it’s Gods country.
Pray for Wawona and all her beauty; pray for these first responders who are working tirelessly to save our communities and beautiful park.
I have been so blessed to spend most of my life living with this Park right in my back yard. She is so incredibly special to me and our family. I just hope we can get this under control soon.

What an amazing last week it has been! Took the kiddos on Vacation to great wolf lodge, followed by spending the 4th on Bass Lake.
I truly have needed a vacation to recover from vacation 😂 but we are headed back out to one of my FAVORITE spots tomorrow for an amazing session 😍
Can you guess where based on this photo? There is something about this spot that gets me beyond excited!

After a wild 4 days of nonstop travel and shooting… I took a much needed R&R day yesterday spending some time with the older kiddos.
We went to the high school pool 🏊‍♂️ took care of some appointments && of course ended with dance classes for miss Paislee LOL
Today I’m back in the office and catching up on all the editing…. Starting with this sweet little babe!! I feel like I’ve been waiting half my life to meet this sweet Sotelo baby girl. Sooooo incredibly excited to welcome our sweet friends and into the girl parent club!

Still riding a high from the last few days… we went from Tahoe, to Napa, to Yosemite.
2 gorgeous weddings and 7 beautiful family sessions all within the last 3 days. Am I tired? Yes… but my creative soul is on FIRE 🔥
We finish up our last round of Yosemite Mini sessions tonight and I couldn’t be more excited to work with the handful of returning and new CW families 😍
No Monday blues over here my friends!! I’m constantly having “pinch me” moments. So obsessed with YOU and this amazing thing I get to call work ✨

It’s been such a wild ride. But so much fun watching you grow into the best hubby and father anyone could dream of. I know you are working your tail off today, but know we love and appreciate you!

Happy Father’s Day to the best daddy in the entire world! I know so many will post these exact words today; but this guy is truly the best in the business.
He works so damn hard to provide a beautiful life for our kids; and me. He will work 15 hour days and still show up for dance practice, baseball & football games or anything these kids have going on.
He loves hard, teaches valuable lessons and life skills, he’s the one they run to with all their deepest secrets knowing he will have grace. He takes care of their mama. He has never once worn the hat of a “step dad” just DAD. And has filled those shoes so damn well.
He isn’t afraid to do the laundry or scrub some toilets, we all know he is THE COOK! Lol and he always goes along with the crazy ideas the kids and I (mostly me) come up with. He is the most selfless person I have ever met.
Thank you for this life, thank you for everything you do for our babies. Thank you for loving their mama; even when she’s an as***le 😉 Thank you for proving me wrong that good step parents do exist. Thank you for raising babies with me the past decade. We love you today, and everyday.

These ✨SIX✨ are my people.
Not a day goes by that I don’t reflect on how blessed I am to call them MY family! This life can get messy, loud and chaotic at times. And, I won’t lie, there are times it can be even overwhelming.
BUT sometimes, God has a way of nudging you; when you really need to be nudged!
I will soak up every second of these loud chaotic moments. I will gladly take the loudness and the messes.
Because I know some parents reality is so much different. They miss the messes, they miss the loudness, they miss what use to be “overwhelming”. Some parents are missing a huge piece of their puzzle that they will never get back.
I was reminded of this recently, and it hit way too close to home. Squeezing and loving this core group of mine extra hard these days.
So on the days when it feels like it’s way “too much” just remember; too much, is so much better than nothing at all ❤️
