When I started my photography business 16 years ago and would get requests for photographs in Yosemite, it overwhelmed me. It was big, too much, too many people, no cell service and I didn’t know where to go. As a mom of two little boys who loved the outdoors, I started coming with my kids when the got the “Every Kid in a Park” pass, and something shifted. Little by little, and over the years, the overwhelm turned into awe.

Now, every session here reminds me how lucky we are to have this masterpiece of creation right in our backyard and what a beautiful thing it is to feel so small.

These two beautiful humans found each other young and have already accomplished so much together. She was the baby sister of one of my sweet brides eight years ago and now it’s her turn!

Getting back into photographing engagements and weddings after a planned hiatus feels like coming home for me. I love the way couples light up telling me how they met, reliving the proposal, and dreaming about what’s ahead.

I’m booking engagement sessions now and my wedding calendar opens January 2027. I honestly can’t wait to celebrate with you 🤍
